Hey there! My name is Katie and I love books. If you are here, you probably love books too. I started this blog as a creative outlet for all of my thoughts, feelings, and vibes on the books that I’m reading. Posts may include book hauls, what I’m currently reading, book reviews, book cons, and the occasional (…or many) pictures of my dogs. Come for the books, stay for the coziness.
A little about me: I currently live in sunny San Diego with my husband (Frank), two dogs (Wally and Watson), cat (Lil Man), two guinea pigs (Barry and Herman), and ball python (Reggie). We may sound like animal hoarders, but it’s completely justified because I’m a veterinarian in my real life (right? justified??). I’ve been busy with higher education for a million years (13), becoming a veterinarian and a board-certified veterinary radiologist. I’ve recently finally had the time to start exploring my hobbies as a 30-something adult with grown up money. This last year I’ve started crocheting, cross stitch, cozy gaming, and reading. I’ve always been a reader but didn’t have much extra time for reading for enjoyment while doing those million years of school, so this last year I’ve finally found time to delight in reading again.
